There
are a variety of things to do and places to visit in and
around Lake Como whether it be sightseeing, sports, shopping
for the latest fashions, to just relaxing.
The
stunning lake has many places of interest to visit, and lots of
villages with their own character and appeal. You can choose
your own itinerary. These villages can be accessed by road, by lake
or by train. Visit "How
to find us"
or "useful
links"
as this will give you a list of different types of transport
to help you get around Lake Como and surrounding areas.
The ferries, boats and hydrofoils
run regular services up and down the Lake, there are also frequent
services between the 'triangle' of towns in the centre of the
lake. Do take at least one Boat Trip, a day ticket allows you to
hop on and off to visit the villages around the lake.
During
the summer months you can experience a lake cruise and with on-board
restaurant and dancing. You can also look forward to a sunset
cruise. These leave from Bellagio, Colico, Como, Domaso, Lecco,
Menaggio, and Varenna.
The ferries can transport motor
vehicles as well as passengers on foot. The
ferries for transporting motor vehicles currently only travel between Cadenabbia,
Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna.
