Lake Como, is one of the lakes found in Northern Italy close to the Swiss and French borders.  Lake Como is located in the Lombardy region, just north of Milan.  Lake Como is long and narrow and shaped like an upside down "Y" or wishbone (make a wish).  Como town and Lecco are based at the southern ends, and Colico at the northern end.  

 

The apartment is located in Consiglio Di Rumo (border line to Gravedona), a village on the North Western Shore of Lake Como.  The adjoining towns are Gravedona and Dongo.
